The interface of Microsoft Outlook 2013 has inverse drastically from previous versions of the email client. Though there is no easy way to switch back to the classic Outlook layout and views, you can configure some of the new features to resemble the features in previous versions. For case, you can remove the first line of each message that now displays by default, leaving only discipline lines in your message listing. You can alter the bluish text in the subject lines back to black, and you can resize the subject line text closer to the size of other fonts in the message list.
- Remove First Line of Message
- Open Outlook
- Click the drop-down pointer next
- Click
- Change Subject Text Colour
- Click the View " tab
- Click the Conditional Formatting push
- Click the Unread Messages
- Click the Color " drop-down box
- Reduce Subject Text Size
- Click the View tab
- Click the Conditional Formatting button-ii
- Click the Add button
- Type
- Click the Smaller option in the Font dialog box
- Check the cheque box
- Click once over again to close the Conditional Formatting dialog box

Cheque the check box in forepart of the name of the rule y'all simply created, and then click "OK." A warning bulletin will be displayed, indicating that you take non assigned a status. Click "Yes" to keep.
17 Click once more to close the Conditional Formatting dialog box
Click "OK" once again to close the Provisional Formatting dialog box. The subject line text is at present a like size to the residuum of the text in the message listing.
